We currently have Three hangars totaling approximately 35,000 square feet in which to serve our customer's needs.

RICK AVIATION FLIGHT TRAINING (RAFT) is a TSA approved FAA 141 flight school conveniently situated in the heart of Central Virginia operating out of Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport. RAFT is approved to conduct FAA flight training courses, all the way from the basic Private Pilot to the complete Airline Transport Pilot Certificate. Our management staff has more than 15,000 hours of combined aviation experience from military aviation transport to worldwide heavy jet civilian route experience. With these qualities, we can assure that our day‐to‐day operation is achieved.
AIRCRAFT
Our aircraft fleet includes single engine Cessna 152s, 172P, 172 G1000s, Arrows, as well as Multi-Engine Beechcraft Duchesses. Our fleet of maintained aircraft are serviced by our own dedicated certified maintenance personnel. Our ground and flight instruction is provided by our outstanding staff of dedicated career oriented flight instructors. They can offer you detailed, professional training in all phases of your aviation education.
