OUR FACILITY
For the last 33 years, we have been providing excellent service to the aviation industry. This is why Rick Aviation is the peninsula’s number one full service FBO and maintenance shop located at the Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport in Newport News VA.
To best serve our customers we currently have 3 hangars totaling approximately 35,000 square feet and we are an authorized Bendix King Service Center.

FLIGHT SCHOOL
Our mission at Rick Aviation is to provide our flight students with the very highest standards of safety, comfort and quality pilot education that you would expect from a professional flight school. Our flight instructors strive to provide outstanding flight training through feedback, positive reinforcement and an overall commitment to excellence in flight training and customer service.
Rick Aviation Flight School is a TSA approved FAA 141 flight school conveniently located in the heart of Central Virginia operating out of Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport. Rick Aviation is approved to conduct FAA flight training courses, all the way from the basic Private Pilot to the complete Airline Transport Pilot Certificate. Our FAA programs are conducted under CFR FAR PART 61 and FAR PART 141 regulations.

Our aircraft fleet includes three single engine Cessna 172s, a Piper Arrow, as well as a Multi-Engine Beechcraft Duchess. Our fleet of aircraft are serviced and maintained by our own dedicated and certified maintenance personnel.

Our management staff has multiple hours of combined aviation experience. With these qualities, we can assure that our day‐to‐day operation is achieved.
Our ground and flight instruction is provided by our outstanding staff of dedicated career oriented flight instructors that can offer you detailed, professional training in all phases of your aviation education.
